I am a fully qualified childcare professional with over 26 years of childcare experience and have a passion for helping children (and adults) to realise that being the best version of themselves is enough.
I have worked as a Nursery Nurse, Nanny, Special Needs Support, Kids Club Supervisor and Teaching Assistant. I have experience with children aged 0 - 13 years.
I just stumbled across mindfulness
practice over recent years. I had a few setbacks in my life and times when I have really struggled to be able to see a brighter future. I made a big change in my life over 12 years ago when I moved away from my hometown and built a new life in the big city of London. I worked as a Nanny up until recently where I now work in a Prep School as a Teaching Assistant.
Spending time with children and seeing the pressures they face with schooling, social media and the ever changing world around them made me realise that I want to help by giving them the tools to develop a growth mindset and promote resilience. My mindset has changed massively since working on my own growth mindset and changing my thoughts from negative to positive.
My mission now is to share the things I have learnt and to help empower others, children and adults as it is never too late to start taking control of your mind.
